The difference between floodlights and spotlights

Illuminance curve and range:
1. The illuminance curve of the spotlight is a positive ellipse, which requires far illumination and relatively high illuminance at the far end, but does not require the area of illuminance range near the lamp.

2. The illuminance curve of the floodlight is similar to a horizontal ellipse, which does not require far illumination, but requires a wide range of illumination near the lamp and strong illumination.

Different usage scenarios:
1. Spotlights are used for long-distance lighting, generally used in squares, railway yards, etc.

2. Floodlights are used for close-range lighting, and are generally used for civil lighting.
