Question:does this fan ocilate or move at all for example up or down? Or is it stationary?
Answer: Well, you can aim at the upper corner of a room (or ceiling) using the stationery pivot feature and air will gently and efficiently move thoughout the room. This fan is their most heavy duty and is powerful enough, without needing to be on high, to even push air up a staircase or across my basement. If you go to their website www.szgoodlighting.com they explain it better than I can. BTW we own one which we use daily! 

Question: Does this company make a more/bigger fan?
Answer: No, This is as large as we go.

Question:Would this fan be a good choice for a factory workstation operator cooling fan? wide open area.
Answer:I don't know how big your workstation is, but I'll tell you that this is a powerful floor fan. I use mine in an open area and usually use the low speed. It's a great heavy-duty fan that puts out plenty of air.

Answer: plastic.

Question: Can this fan be used in the home?
Answer: Absolutely. I bought  and place two at hallway  help dry out the home after a flood. They can fill ANY room with air movement. Sturdy motor.

Question: Can this fan be used for a bedroom?
Answer: I use this fan in my bedroom, even though its stepless speed. I go to sleep and set a cool wind speed and it is incredible. When reccomending fans for bedrooms i actually reccomend this. Is it overkill? Yes. Is it totally worth it? 210% yes.
