Universal Power Tool Battery system provides the most solution with cordless tools, they can share the same battery and essencial for emergency use when outages. In order to achieve this, a branded convertor is installed to the backside of industrial fan to be connected with 18-21V power tool battery.  And it is compatible with 7 brands of 18V power tool battery: BOSCH, MAKITA, Black & Decker, PORTER-CABLE, STANLEY, DEWALT, MILWAUKEE. Question: Can I use my batteries?
Answer: Yes. All 18 volt slide pack batteries work. 

Question: What is the best/easiest way to clean this fan?
Answer: Take it completely apart and wash with soapy water. DO NOT GET MOTER WET OR SWITCH. 

Question: Is this the fan that runs off either battery or plug in?
Answer: Runs off battery and electric. I have worn out one and I’m buying another one. They are great. 

Question: does the battery get hot after hours of use?
Answer: No. I use the high capacity Li-ion battery and it doesn't even get warm.
